During the last two decades, images have become the best format for transmitting ideas and concepts. Following this logic, brands use images to reach costumers and sell them their products, simplifying as much as possible the message due to the saturation of information in present-day society. Saturation is understood as the point at which consumers can no longer assimilate the volume of content. There is so much information that companies want to transmit to their target audiences that, very frequently, consumers unconsciously ignore it as if it did not exist. Faced with this problem, it is necessary to create a different message, something that does not bother potential clients, but catches their attention and engages them. Many brands have decided to use content that represents a call to action, with which consumers can interact.

At Eikonos, we strongly advocate for this form of communication based on interactivity. The idea is to convert consumers into the linchpin of the communication process so as to encourage them to get involved in it, with the aim of receiving only that information that really interests them. For this reason, our rental catalogue includes touch screens. These are 42 or 55" monitors that can be adapted to different settings and which make it possible to serve personalized content to anyone interacting with them. These touch screens allow us to offer real solutions to those brands that want to transmit a relevant message to their potential clients. Furthermore, we now have a new touch screen for which we have developed object-recognition software.

These monitors adapt perfectly to the needs of museums and exhibitions. For instance, the Real Madrid Museum and the Camp Nou Experience – both very popular with thousands of visitors a year – have successfully incorporated Eikonos’ touch screens, together with other types of A/V equipment. Nevertheless, they can also be used in marketing campaigns, corporate facilities, trade fairs and congresses, in different outdoor formats, etc. In short, these screens offer endless possibilities, obtaining excellent results and improving the impact of marketing messages, which in turn makes it more likely that consumers will buy the products in question.
