Melia Hotels International continues to innovate by adopting new technologies in the recently-launched revamped version of its MICE website (www.melia.com/meetings), improving its design and user-friendliness and, above all, the accessibility of special offer and promotions geared to meetings and events.
Specifically, the section dedicated to event and meeting RFPs and specialized hotel and destination search, as well as the results page, have all been redesigned, adapting them to the new needs of its clients, who can now select several destination in the same petition, also including the option of filtering search results depending on their special interests.
In the "Opportunity Dates" section, users can now access the best rates and special group promotions. The website also includes a new section dedicated to weddings and honeymoons, with information on the chain’s special programmes. Furthermore, the site now allows users direct access to the chain’s online meeting and event hotel directory, a tool for browsing the technical specs of properties offering event facilities.
Lastly, the redesigned website also features a number of additional direct links to melia.com’s Sustainability section, as well as the Mas Amigos loyalty programme, keyed to travel agents and event planners.
