It participates in three events in which it insists that it is a safe destination for the celebration of all types of congresses.
Turismo Costa del Sol reinforces the promotion of its business tourism offer and does so by insisting that it is a safe destination for holding congresses and meetings when these activities can be held again in person and without the restrictions that the pandemic demands. This was emphasised during her participation in the Forum Business Travel and Mis Evento Plus and on the 11th at the annual convention of the Spain DMCs Association.
The CEO of Costa del Sol Tourism, Margarita del Cid, said that "these actions are intended to discover, bring closer and increase awareness of the Costa del Sol with all its offerings as an ideal destination for holding conferences, conventions, incentives or any type of corporate event. Thus, the Business Travel Forum has made it possible to publicise the Costa del Sol's congress offer, promoting networking and the relationship, communication and exchange of knowledge and experiences with important corporate travel managers. Del Cid insisted that "the destination has magnificent infrastructures for holding fairs, congresses and incentive trips, very well communicated with the rest of Spain and with foreign countries through high-speed trains, roads and an international airport".
Also, on 28th and 29th April, Turismo Costa del Sol took part in MIS (Meeting & Incentive Summit) organised by the publication Eventoplus, where it held a two-day conference-workshop, created so that buyers of meetings and incentives could get to know first-hand the best suppliers and the latest developments in the sector.
It is also scheduled to take part in the annual convention of the Spain DMCs Association, which will be held in Madrid from 10 to 12 May at the NH Collection Eurobuilding. "The entity will participate in this action by offering a presentation of the destination to a total of 31 prestigious incoming agencies from all over Spain. The attendees are representatives of the companies associated with SpainDMCs, which are Spanish companies specialising in services for the international market in the congress, events and meetings segment and which, as a whole, have around 60 offices throughout Spain," he explained.
