Over 140 national and international destinations and companies, 40% more than last year, will be participating in the 4th edition of the International Cultural Tourism Fair (FITC), to be held at Malaga’s Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre from 20-23 September.

Cultural Tourism
One of the foremost cultural tourism fairs both in Spain and abroad and one of the events that has contributed most to overcoming seasonality in the tourist industry, the FITC has helped position Malaga as a leading destination, with a 15% share of the Spanish cultural tourism market.

Charming hotels
The FITC’s select charming hotels section, which this year will have more exhibition space than in previous editions, is a unique showcase. Besides promoting this kind of accommodation, a number of overnight stays will be raffled over the weekend.

Live music during the weekend
To help promote Malaga’s bid to become European Cultural Capital 2016, for the first time in the fair’s history live music will staged over the weekend, including jazz, flamenco and “verdiales” (traditional music from the Malaga countryside).
