There is no better way to break the ice at an event than with a glass of wine.

Alfredo Peris, an oenologist and journalist specializing in wine, and Carlos Casallachs, an economist with a long track record in the corporate world, are the brains behind Sensorial Espai Group, a Barcelona-based company specializing in corporate wine experiences and, more specifically, in using the five senses to optimize professional management.

Sensorial Espai Group offers companies, groups and collectives a range of activities related to the world of wine culture, and the sensory perception of wine tasting, as an original way of concluding a business meeting, congress or get-together, combining leisure with learning, as well as serving as an effective ice-breaker at networking sessions or as a team building activity.

Sensorial Espai Group’s activities are adaptable to all kinds of event formats:

  • Ferrero: at the presentation of the ad campaign featuring Judit Masco, wines of the world were served at an elegant, fun cocktail party.
  • Granini: at the company’s sales convention, new sales strategies were developed by means of a comparative sensory tasting of fruit juice and wine.
  • Nokia: as a team-building activity, forming a part of the company’s annual staff meeting, Sensorial Espai designed a fun blind wine tasting, with prizes for the winners.
  • Bulthaup: during the Gastronomic Forum of Gerona, a distributor of Bulthaup invited their clients to an exclusive tasting. The one-Michelin star holder Nando Juvany prepared some delicious black truffle titbits, while Alfredo Peris chose a selection of wines as an accompaniment.
  • Disproin-Epson: Disproin-Epson hosted a presentation for its best clients on board an elegant yacht in the port of Valencia, which ended with a glamorous wine tasting session.Austria: a presentation of Austrian wines for the press and specialized distributors during FAD’s Wine & Design Workshop in Barcelona.
  • Astra Tech: during the health industry product presentation, an original wine tasting session, with gourmet food, was held in the exclusive indoor patio of Murcia’s Royal Casino.
