Vueling to Offer a New Connection between Paris and Cadiz

From 1 December, the low-cost airline Vueling will operate a new route between the province of Cadiz and Charles de Gaulle Airport. The company will offer flights from December to March, the months during which air charter companies stop flying to Jerez Airport.

Three flights a week
There will be evening flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving at Jerez at 8.45pm and leaving for Paris at 9.40pm. Tickets, which are now on sale, will cost from €30 each way, taxes included.

Overcoming seasonality
It is hoped that this new connection will increase the number of French tourists visiting the province of Cadiz in the low season, both for business and pleasure. In spite of the lack of direct flights, around 54,000 French tourists visited the province in 2006. Although ranked third, this figure is still way behind the number of arrivals from Germany and the United Kingdom.
