The Barcelona outlet has organized, together with the Chinese TV channel Guangxi, an event to promote exchange between the Chinese and Catalan cultures.
On 11 November, Viladecans The Style Outlets, the only outlet centre in the metropolitan area of Barcelona, staged an event with the Chinese TV channel Guangxi aimed at promoting cultural exchange between the southern region of Guangxi and Catalonia. Furthermore, at a moment in which tourist spending in Barcelona has surpassed 18% of the total and more flight connections have been established between the city and the China, the Chinese attendees had the chance to get to know first-hand the outlet centre’s offering and tourist services.
In line with its commitment to tourism and culture, the outlet centre hosted the filming of the travel programme Selfie Queen featuring an exhibition of traditional Chinese dresses, popular music performances, and a typical group of castellers, one of Catalonia’s most significant cultural traditions.
