The Spanish Congress Centre Association (APCE) is organizing an event to celebrate its 15th anniversary, coinciding with the celebration of its 9th Annual Congress, with the attendance of key industry players.

After the recent presentation of its statistical results, highlighting the growing importance of congress centres for generating income in the cities where they are located, APCE is organizing a gala celebration which will be attended by the heads of the association's 37 members, as well as key industry players and specialized media representatives.

The event will coincide with APCE's 9th Annual Congress, scheduled to be held at the Valencia Congress Centre from 14-15 July. A wide range of speakers have been invited to give keynotes at the congress, including Emilio Duro, a well known consultant and coach working with some of the country's top companies, who is currently breaking records in the Internet and media thanks to his unique vision of motivation and change management.

The productivity and cost saving in congress centre management, the latest trends in business tourism and the keys to designing an adequate event marketing strategy are just some of the issues that will be addressed in keynotes, and technical and business work forums.

According to Jose Salinas, president of APCE and managing director of the Valencia Congress Centre: "The association has kept the values that the founders established 15 years ago alive, through developing a quality congress product and consolidating a national network that defends the interests of congress centres, and which has served as a platform for promoting them on an international scale."

"Thanks to the support of APCE in updating the key aspects of our congress centres, such as new technologies, innovation and sustainability, in addition to its collaboration with other institutions related to the industry, like TURESPAÑA, the country's congress centres are still among the highest ranked in the world, according to ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association), despite stiff competition."
