Two nights of tapas, football and flamenco with Jamones y Embutidos España e Hijos

Within the framework of the 2016 edition of the Fira Alimentaria Barcelona, the DosTrece Restaurant-Lounge in Raval recently hosted en informal meeting between executives of Embutidos y Jamones España e Hijos and some of their main clients and suppliers.

With the honorary presence of Miguel España Muñoz, director general and founder of this Toledo firm, accompanied by his sons Miguel Angel and Ruben, approximately 50 distinguished guests had the chance to enjoy two consecutive evenings with colleagues and clients related to the meat processing and food industries. One of the main features of the two evenings was the “king of sports”, insofar as the guests got the chance to watch the semifinals of the Champions League on a giant screen, with the stellar participation of Real Madrid and Atletico de Madrid.

After a hard day’s work doing business with the hundreds of companies taking part in the Fira Alimentaria Barcelona, held from 25-28 April 2016 in Fira’s Gran Via tradeshow complex in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, representatives of companies from the many sectors of the food and beverage industry from all over the world exchanged views on this major event, while savouring the best in tapas and beverages, specially chosen by the culinary team of the DosTrece Restaurant-Lounge.

This year, the DosTrece Restaurant-Lounge, located in the central district of Raval, only a three-minute walk from the famous Ramblas, was the ideal choice for this multitudinous meeting organized by the executives of Jamones y Embutidos España e Hijos: two comfortably appointed floors, with bars on both of them, projectors, rooms with heating/air conditioning, daises, a high-fidelity sound system, security staff, and a professional team of waiters and polyglot PR staff. If that was not enough, and making the most of the venue’s tablao style dais, several of the employees of the company based in Escalonilla, Toledo, gave a flamenco performance featuring an amazing bailaora and a number of guitarists and singers. It goes without saying that the spontaneous dancing of the guests was much enjoyed by both the public and the staff of DosTrece Restaurant-Lounge

Rubén España, the organizer of these two after-work events featuring tapas, football and flamenco, was exceedingly satisfied with the results: “We’ve had two marvelous evenings in Barcelona. And we will return to Toledo with fond memories of our stay. DosTrece is a great place to organize corporate events of this type. We hope to back next year.”
