The aim is to provide students with the necessary theoretical and practical training to become tourist guides, working in situ for tour operators, capable of catering to the needs of all kinds of tourists.

With 150 hour workload, the course, which is based on the ECTS credit system, is recognised throughout Europe. With a diploma awarded by the University Alfonso X el Sabio, those students successfully completing the course will be given the opportunity, after passing a selection process, to work for TUI Spain during the following high season.

This postgraduate programme forms a part of TUI Spain’s human resources strategy geared to training its employees. The strategy’s chief aim is to staff the company with employees capable of providing clients with a service surpassing their expectations.

Based in Palma de Mallorca, the company has 1,400 employees and offices in the top 29 destinations in Spain, attending to the needs of five million clients a year.
