The Tarragona Convention Bureau, in collaboration with PortAventura Business & Events (associated member of TCB), recently organized a fam trip for association executives belonging to KORAZZA.
The destination's promotion, envisaged in the 2011 Action Plan, continues to centre on showcasing the many possibilities offered by Tarragona for holding all types of congresses, conventions, incentives and events through the organization of fam trips for groups of planners, so that they can see for themselves the many options open to them.
An attractive programme was designed for the seven association executives taking part in the fam trip, showing them a wide range of venues and activities. The programme, which centred on the facilities at PortAventura, also included visits to the Apartotel Atenea Aventura, La Boella and the Husa Imperial Tarraco-Cal Blay and a guided tour of the city on Segways, organized by Argos Serveis Culturals.
Tarragona organizes fam trip for KORAZZA members
This promotional action stems from the participation of both TCB and PortAventura Business & Events in the KORAZZA congress, held in October, with the aim of positioning the destination in the Spanish association meeting market. The results of both actions have been viewed very favourably, since they have involved face-to-face contact with potential clients, and the feedback obtained has been more than satisfactory. The idea is to continue along these lines so as to position Tarragona as a top MICE destination.
