Spanish Lead Europe in Hygiene and Personal Care

Judging by the results of the last survey conducted by TripAdvisor – the largest online travel community in the world – many of the myths about the Europeans' hygiene habits and personal care have bit the dust.

This survey, in which more than 3,000 European travellers have taken part, ranks the Spanish as the most conscientious when preparing for their holidays. Many people are now thinking about their Easter holidays, and, although budgets will be tighter this year, it does not seem as if the Spanish are prepared to scrape and save on their personal image.

The British are ranked in second place overall, although they lead the field as regards some pre-holiday preparations, such as dieting or getting their hair done, and the French bring up the rear in personal care.
