Hostelequip, the Equipment, Services, Food and Drink Fair for Hotels, Restaurants and Collectives, is due to be held at Malaga&#39s Tradeshow and Congress Centre from 15-18 March 2008. With the theme (Ready), this event showcasing the latest in equipment and services for the hotel and restaurant industries will be beginning a new phase marked by the change in organization, which will be handled by FYCMA from this edition on.

As a result of FYCMA taking over the organization of the tradeshow, the format of the 14th edition of Hestelequip has been redefined to adapt to new market trends and to fulfil two chief aims: to consolidate its leading position in the Andalusian market and to cross regional frontiers to penetrate new markets, such as Morocco.

As well as offering a more modern image in agreement with the innovating spirit of Hostelequip – including a new website: www.hostelequip.com – the tradeshow will have a markedly multi-sectoral character, converting it into a meeting place for exhibitors from a variety of sectors, such as hygiene and cleaning, furniture and décor, linen and textiles, kitchen equipment, vending, air conditioning, sports facilities and other infrastructures, bathrooms, leisure and free time, technological and computer management, food and drink, and services for the hospitality industry and collectives.

This multi-sectoral character will allow attendees to generate new leads and business, position their companies and products in the hospitality and service markets, exchange experiences with other professionals, and strengthen their corporate image.

In addition, there will be an educational programme of technical seminars at which trade professionals will be able to acquaint themselves with the latest in food, technology and equipment for improving service and product quality.

Likewise, a parallel programme of activities has been organized, featuring as in previous editions “Southern Flavours”, including conferences, food and wine tastings, and demonstrations with produce typical of Mediterranean cuisine.
