Sono at 5th Charity Dinner of PortAventura Foundation

The event is part of its corporate social responsibility strategy and has raised €82,000 for the fight against Alzheimer’s.

Once again, the Charity Dinner has registered a higher attendance than in previous years. More than 1,000 people, including entrepreneurs, politicians and representative of NGOs attended the 5th edition of the event held at the PortAventura Convention Centre on 8 October.

For this charity event, the foundation commissioned the A/V production firm Sono to handle the following:

  • installation, technical production and staging
  • LED display and video, sound and lighting management equipment rental
  • Filming and live broadcasting

The staging of the event was designed exclusively with giant LED displays, without the need for incorporating printed graphic elements or carpentry.

A giant 10x3m Absen A7 LED display served as the stage’s backdrop. In addition to contextualizing each part of the event with its design and content, this display accompanied each of the performances with spectacular effects.

Either side of the stage, Sono installed another two 4x4.5m Absen A7 LED displays, allowing guests to follow the event, which this year raised funds for three associations fighting against Alzheimer’s: the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, the Reus i Baix Camp Alzheimer’s Association and the Villablanca Foundation - Grup Pere Mata.
