During two days, the company manufacturing the most efficient food processor on the market invited 1,000 French demonstrators – the majority of whom were women – to its 50th anniversary celebrations.

Staged in Barcelona, the event was held at two of the city’s emblematic venues: el MNAC and the Pueblo Español. In collaboration with ITB DMC, Solfesa was commissioned to deck out both venues. A team of 30 professionals, who handled the lighting, sound, decoration and staging of all the entertainment, ensured that the event was a sound success.

The Pueblo Español’s central square was used for the dinner, and Solfesa assembled a large stage for the performance of Dave, a well-know French artiste. The pergola in front of the stage was used for the awards ceremony presided by the company’s directors. Two giant screens were installed so as allow the participants to follow the proceedings from any part the square.

During the event at MNAC, the guests were welcomed at the entrance of the museum by a group of stilt walkers, who with their spectacular costumes and acrobatics, including fire juggling, broke the ice. Later on, during the dinner in the oval hall, the guests were treated to a full programme of entertainment. Due to the large number of guests at the dinner, Solfesa’s technicians decided to assemble two special stages in the stand area for the band and the speakers representing the company. To this end, a double line array was suspended from the ceiling, while an ambient lighting system added a spectacular touch to the venue.

The resulting event met the brand’s expectations and created the festive atmosphere that it wanted to transmit to its team members so as to thank them for their diligence and good work and to encourage them to meet new challenges.
