Through MCI, HP commissioned Sintonizart to organize the entertainment for its conferences held in Barcelona from 30 November-1 December, as well as the general staging of the gala dinner on occasion of the company’s 2010 International Convention.

Sintonizart creative and artistic solutions added a special touch to the event which was attended by nearly 3,000 delegates, and in which the concept of technology was present throughout.

For the guest reception, the Port Olímpic was transformed into Barcelona’s Ramblas, recreating the essence of this emblematic street: flowers, music, human statues, mime artists, gegants, castellers, caricaturists, portraitists and dancers.

A guitar orchestra provided musical entertainment during the cocktail party, whose exquisite repertory made for a festive ambience. A group of percussionists performed during dinner, accompanied by the maritime theme show Mediterraneum, which included choreographies, entertainment and an original mobile decoration featuring sea-related characters.

During dessert, groups of performers, whose costumes were inspired by famous Catalonian artists (Gaudí, Miró and Dalí), moved among the tables inviting guests to be photographed with them.

The finale featured the show Technologique – designed and staged by Sintonizart. Comprising a singer, 12 dancers wearing luminous costumes, a guitarist and two experts in the latest in juggling acts, the show’s spectacular staging involved a laser, a LED screen and a play of lights, making for unforgettable evening.
