Race of Morocco all Set to be Held in Marrakech from 1-3 May

From the 1-3 May 2009 Marrakech will be hosting the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) on a newly built international street circuit, right in the heart of the enchanting Red City.

Marrakech is all set to host the FIA WTCC on a temporary street circuit in the centre of town, which promises to be Africa’s biggest motorsport event yet. The event, due to be held from 1-3 May, will feature the FIA World Touring Car Championship, as well as other international motorsport series, and a full parallel programme including concerts, performances, parades, exhibitions and parties.
