The Puerto Rico Convention Center (PRCC) has been voted the "World's Top Convention Center Award 2011" by Trade Show Executive, as well as receiving the Inner Circle Award 2011 for the second year in a row. This award, one of the most prestigious in the global conventions industry, is given by Association Meetings, a magazine specializing in meetings and conventions worldwide.

The 70 winners of the annual Inner Circle Awards are chosen by the magazine's readership and experts in groups, meeting and convention management and coordination, in the following categories: hotels, resorts, conference centers and convention centers. The winners were announced in August and their names published in the October 2011 edition of Association Meetings, the only independent publication focused exclusively on association meetings and conventions

California-based Trade Show Executive (TSE) annually acknowledges the best conventions centers in the world with what have become to be known as the "Convention Industry Emmys." Directors and editorial team members highlight the convention centers that best manage the needs of planners, clients, exhibitors and visitors.
