The Province of Seville Surpasses in October the Number of Visitors Expected for the Whole Year

According to Seville’s Tourism Observatory, last October the province surpassed the target of 1.5 million visitors in 2006 by more than 84,000.

More visitors than last year
In addition to this, the number of overnight stays has increased 38% in relation to the same period in 2005. Likewise, the number of overnight stays registered for oversees tourists increased by 22%.

The pull of the countryside
Compared with an increase of approximately 16% in overnight stays registered in the province’s hotels, the number of people using country accommodation increased by over 200%.
