Presentation of 2008 Easter Week Poster

The 2008 Easter Week poster, sponsored by the restaurant Doña Pepa, will be presented today at 9pm, with Ana Espinar Capa as mistress of ceremonies. This year’s poster is based on a photograph by Eduardo Nieto of the Virgin Mary of Grace of the Cofradía del Rescate.

Likewise, the Cofradía del Rescate will be celebrating its annual award ceremony, this year’s winners being Jose Atencia Garcia (the city’s Gold Medal holder), Teresa Porras (head of operational services of Malaga City Council) and Magdalena Alvarez Arza (Minister of Public Works).

As in previous years, the ceremony will be presided by the Mayor of Malaga, the venue being the restaurant Doña Pepa.
