PowerVote to Supply Audience Polling System for ExpoManagement Conferences

HSM has chosen PowerVote’s audience polling system for the conferences to be held during ExpoManagement, which Madrid’s Municipal Congress Centre will be hosting from 4-5 June 2008.

This is the third consecutive year that HSM has engaged the services of PowerVote, a company specialising in cutting-edge communication technologies, with branches in eight European countries, including Spain.

HSM is a multinational that organises annual events geared to training executives. Since 2006, PowerVote’s audience polling system has been used at ExpoManagement, one of Spain’s principal business management forums. During the last edition of the event in Madrid, the company’s system was employed at the conferences of Orange and Daemon Quest. More than 2,500 delegates used the system’s keypads – commercialised by PowerVote – to participate actively during keynotes. According to Maximiliano Massuci, HSM’s European operation manager, the audience polling system is highly versatile, as it facilitates interaction between the audience and the speaker and audience polling.

The PowerVote system comprises wireless keypads and a receiver connected to a computer, displaying results in real time.
