PowerVote Partners with EyeForFarma to Organize Top Latin American Pharmaceutical Event

PowerVote has recently partnered with EyeForFarma, as Supporting Sponsor, to organize Latin America's top pharmaceutical event, Excellence in Sales and Marketing Latin America 2011, which is being held from 20-21 October in Miami, USA.

The congress brings together executives from Latin America, USA and Europe to discuss issues related to the strategies implemented by the pharmaceutical industry to address the new economy.

EyeForFarma is a London-based international organization specializing in business strategy analysis for the pharmaceutical industry, advising senior executives in a useful and practical way.

Mexican ASPID Awards chosen using the PowerVote system
As an essential player in optimizing marketing events, PowerVote has recently collaborated in the 7th edition of ASPID Mexico, the Latin American Health and Pharmaceutical Awards, whose award ceremony was held at the Spanish Hospital of Mexico DF on 31 August, before an audience of 400 guests.

The members of the different juries – three in this year's edition: Creative, Continuous Medical Training and Goals – used the PowerVote system and keypads for selecting the winners in each category.

Organized since 1996 by the Spanish edition of the journal PMFARMA, the ASPID Awards are given to the best health and pharmaceutical ad campaigns. In Mexico and Latin America, the ASPID Awards are jointly organized by Farma Conventions and the Mexican Association of Pharmaceutical Advertising Agencies. In this year's edition, 33 agencies – 11 more than last year – submitted a total of 280 ad campaigns.

The agencies picking up the greatest number of awards in the Gold and Silver Award categories were JWT Pharma, with five gold and six silver awards, and CMV, with three gold awards.
