Over the last three years, we have not tired of saying that the crisis is not new to us, since we started up our company in times of crisis. Now the planet, where earthquakes and wars have cut short the dreams of so many people, has told us that it is time to grow. We have just opened shop in Lima and Sao Paolo in search of new challenges, knowledge and anecdotes to tell our grandchildren. We are more motivated by the desire to improve than to grow in size; a great agency rather than a big one.

Simpler image
In our opinion, people are nowadays more empowered than brands are. And this is great news. We believe that if people have abbreviated our brand name from "Poko Frecuente" to "Poko" it is because they like it more o simply because it is easy for them to remember. It is our audience that has re-baptised us. And we like the sound of it: shorter, simpler. As a result, we have also simplified our logo. In a world saturated by just about everything, where attention is the scarcest resource, we like the KISS attitude: "Keep It Simple Stupid."

More social website
That front page of Wired proclaiming the demise of the website gave us food for thought. It brought home to us something obvious: a website only makes sense together with its audience. We believe that if nowadays our audience is engaged in Twitter or Facebook that is where we should be. For this reason, we have socialized our website, adapting it to social networking. The result is www.poko.ad, a website containing 140 characters, 100% tweetable. Maybe there are some that think that such a website does not sell and they are quite right. But in our opinion a friend is worth more than a client; that there is not a more loyal client than a friend. We like the love attitude: "make love, not sales."

More environmentally friendly office
We have always dreamed of having an office in tree house in the Amazon or a cave in the Grand Canyon. A wireless office without toner cartridges that have to be changed and without icy-cold air conditioning Thanks to our friends at Zyncro, we now have an office in the cloud: spaceless, wireless, paperless. Accessible 24/7 and "glocal": global and local at the same time. This allows us to handle projects with three creative teams in three parts of the world, and the marketing director to monitor everything with his smartphone from his sitting room at home. We like the sharing principle, also known as 69: "giving is receiving."
