Picasso - Object and Image

A new temporary exhibition is opening today at Malaga’s Picasso Museum. Entitled Picasso – Object and Image, the exhibition will be open to the public from 23 October-27 January 2008.

The exhibition, comprising a selection of nearly 70 sculptures, drawings, graphic art and ceramics, is designed to show visitors the relationships between the different artistic languages with which Pablo Picasso worked throughout his life.

Designed by the art commissioners Salvador Haro and Harald Theil, both experts in Picasso ceramics, Picasso – Object and Image examines the artist’s work methods in the different languages he employed and how these influence each other, frequently contributing material challenges and those of form to the process.
