New Health Farm to Open in Galicia

A new health farm is planned to be opened in Ponte Calderas, a town located in the Galician province of Pontevedra, once the administrative problems that have paralyzed the project for over a year have been resolved. The first steps have already been taken, and now the only issue left for the developer, El Bosque, to address is to negotiate with the banks to obtain the necessary financing.

The future health farm will have around 30 guest rooms, chill-out rooms and treatment rooms. Health farm tourism is one of the pillars of Galicia’s tourist industry, as shown by the 20 or more establishments comprising the Galician Association of Health Farms.
