New Gourmet Restaurant Audrey’s Opens at AR Diamante Beach

On Thursday, 4 December, the Diamante Beach Hotel **** in Calpe (Alicante) opened Audrey’s, a promising new eatery for discerning palates, specializing in Mediterranean signature cuisine, captained by the renowned chef Rafael Soler.

Audrey Hepburn is the image of glamour, an ageless concept of class... Now, the spectacular AR Diamante Beach SPA Hotel & Convention Centre in Calpe has applied this concept to haute cuisine. Audrey’s is its new restaurant that combines an elegant ambience with modern cuisine.

Captained by the chef Rafael Soler, this new restaurant’s contemporary cuisine, which is as authentic as it is cosmopolitan, reflects its evolution after his last two projects in Denia, Joel Bistronomic and Aticcook, advancing from a style that interprets the local tradition while incorporating a global concept.

The Audrey’s menu is based on the best seasonal produce, fish and rice, red shrimps from Denia and oysters from Santa Pola, all combined with the most outstanding ingredients to create haute cuisine with a touch of exoticism. The same philosophy is also evident in the restaurant’s dessert menu, featuring dates, nougat, Valencia oranges, and chocolate and ice cream from Alicante.

Rafa Soler summarizes the best of his culinary art in the Moon River Menu (snacks, two entrées, two second courses and dessert at 35€) and Audrey’s Eleven’s Menu including a number of à la carte items and others specially created by the chef for a relaxed and unhurried experience at 55€.

The sommelier, Cesar Hernandez Coca, aims to harmonize these dishes with especially designed wine pairings for each menu at 15€ and 20€, respectively. With a cellar containing more than 150 labels, wine plays an important role in the restaurant. The stunning wine fridge, visible to all diners, is located at the restaurant’s hotel lobby entrance, although Audrey’s is also accessible from the street.

Audrey’s restaurant opens from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner.
