Monte Hotels Launches New Website

The Andalusian hotel chain has just optimised its website with new content and user-friendly features.

New graphics and more dynamic content are the two main features of Monte Hotels’ new website. End-users will still be able to access previous features, such as the chain’s own booking engine, which is constantly updated with discounts, availability, prices, special offers and suggestions; the corporate blog with postings about events celebrated in each of the chain’s hotels; and information about tourist attractions and services in each destination. The website also incorporates a weather information service, information about interesting places in the vicinity, descriptions of tourist attractions in the area, and handy links to recommended tourist websites.

Technically speaking, the website adheres to XHTML and CSS standards, thus helping search engines spiders to index its pages more thoroughly. In addition, it includes an RSS feed for prices and special offers. Many of the site’s sections have been reorganised so as to make them more search engine and user-friendly. The hotel location section also incorporates Google Maps to indicate the best routes from the hotels in each city to main tourist attractions.

From now on, Monte Hotels’ new website will offer users many advantages: for example, the RSS feed to keep up to date with the chain’s special offers, easier access to the discounts and further search options by prices, allowing clients that do not have fixed dates for their stay to find the best offers.

Furthermore, the website has been designed to save users time. Many of the site’s interactive pages have been developed using AJAX, allowing users to interact with the system without having to refresh the page.

The website, which still has the same URL – www.hotelesmonte.com – is currently available in English, French and German.
