Mexico, Poland and Zagreb among International Exhibitors at 2010 Edition of Cultural Tourism & City Breaks

The 7th edition of the International fair of Cultural Tourism and City Breaks (TC & CB), scheduled to be held at Malaga’s Tradeshow and Congress Centre from 23-26 September 2010, will again provide visitors with the best opportunity to plan fabulous holidays at the most attractive international destinations, such as Mexico, Poland and Croatian capital Zagreb, among others.

As to Mexico, the country’s tourist board will be attending TC & CB to showcase Las rutas turísticas de México, comprising 10 itineraries highlighting Mexico’s natural, architectonic, historical and cultural heritage, which offer tourists a different way of travelling, as well as promoting the development of the country’s tourist industry in all its facets. Covering the Republic’s 32 states, these itineraries pass through destinations of enormous interest, and each one includes is designed to highlight the country’s many attractions, such as cuisine, ecotourism, adventures, extreme sports, popular art, beach tourism, and a lot more.

In the case of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, the city is an outstanding cultural and city break destination, thanks to its heritage and a cuisine that will delight even the most discerning of tourists. An ancient city that has known how to preserve is romantic atmosphere and street safety, Zagreb offers a full cultural agenda including plays, concerts, art exhibitions and museums. Chock-a-block with historical and architectural attractions and with a large number of parks covering over 400,000sqm, the city is made for strolling.

Likewise, visitors to the fair will also be able to get to know more about Poland, birthplace of Frederic Chopin, a country with an impressive cultural and natural heritage, including the only Bison reverse in Europe. The chief motives of Spanish tourists for visiting the Central European state include the culture, art and history of its cities, as well as the John Paul II itinerary. In addition, Ryanair, which will also be showcasing its products and services at the fair, operates direct flights from Malaga to Cracow, the ancient capital of Poland and UNESCO Heritage Site, and to Wroclaw, the ancient capital of Lower Silesia.
