In the 8th edition of the annual Travellers’ Choice Awards, the four-star Meninas Hotel, located in the heart of the Austrias borough of Madrid, was voted the best property in Madrid and the 8th best in Spain by TripAdvisor’s European Travel Community.
On 20 January, TripAdvisor, the largest and most popular travel community in the world, announced the winners of the 8th edition of its annual Travellers’ Choice Awards. Several Spanish hotels figure this year in the Best Hotels in Europe and the World categories. A total of 719 properties received at least one award.
This year, TripAdvisor has focused more than ever on variety, identifying more hotels of very different characteristics, including the following categories: Bargain; All Inclusive; Family; Luxury; B&Bs and Inns; Relaxation & Spa; Romance; Trendiest; Europeans’ Favourite; and Best Service.
Unlike other hotel awards throughout the world, TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards are based on the millions of opinions and critiques posted by real travellers on TripAdvisor.
