Malacaminos has participated in this year’s edition of Ferial with the first stand representing CINEGENIA, the recently created association of companies working in Almeria’s audio-visual sector.
CINEGENIA is an umbrella association belonging to ASEMPAL (Almeria’s business association), bringing together companies linked to the audio-visual sector with the aim of defending common interests. The association’s members include production companies, creative personnel, clothes designers, set builders, Wild West sets, stunt agencies, location finders, etc.
Malcaminos, a services company located in Tabernas Desert, has taken advantage of this interesting opportunity to promote its services including location finding, permit management, production assistance, logistic support and camel hire.
With this initiative, CINEGENIA has reached three of its objectives after its recent creation: firstly, to forge inevitable and beneficial links between the audio-visual sector and other industries, such as tourism, transport, commerce, etc., in order to promote Almeria as a place for making quality films; secondly, to participate actively in promotional and mass media events; and lastly, to defend the importance of the film industry in the province of Almeria.
