Malaga's Trade Show and Congress Centre (FYCMA) has redoubled its marketing efforts keyed to promoting the centre and the city among the main business tourism agencies in Catalonia and the United Kingdom, strengthening the FYCMA brand, penetrating new markets, and increasing the number and quality of the events it holds.

FYCMA has stepped up its marketing activities on a national and international level with the implementation of a specific plan geared to the Catalonian and British markets, in collaboration with the specialized consulting firm Leading Sense, a company with a foothold in the key MICE markets, which will act as an intermediary between the congress centre and potentials interested in its facilities and services.

This specific marketing plan, which reinforces the constant promotion that FYCMA has been carrying out in Madrid and Germany for the last few years, will be targeting Barcelona and the United Kingdom, although there is also a possibility of extending it to take in Scandinavia, as well.

Along these lines, both FYCMA and Malaga Convention Bureau will rely on the collaboration of the aforementioned consulting firm, one of whose executives is Ramzi-Radi Shuaibi, who is one of the professionals in the business tourism industry with the widest knowledge of international MICE markets, and who was assistant director of the Congress Centre of Catalonia for 10 years.
