The centre will be responsible for promoting the presence of micro-SMEs at all the trade shows it organizes in a specific area designed especially for these kinds of companies.

On the 3 December, the Municipal Company for Business Initiatives and Activities of Malaga (Promalaga) signed a collaboration agreement with the Confederation of Enterprise of Malaga (CEM) and the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of the Province of Malaga, keyed to creating an area for micro-SMEs at the professional shows organized by the Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYCMA), called "Zone 3.14," where the centre will provide them with support and mentoring so as to ensure their effective participation.

For their part, CEM, the Chamber of Commerce, and Promalaga will contribute the necessary resources so as to provide information on the associated micro-SMEs that satisfy all the requirements, disseminate information, and assist in monitoring, as well as implementing any other initiatives geared to improving the results of their show attendance.

Thanks to this agreement, all those micro-SMEs employing a maximum of 10 staff members, with a net annual turnover of less than €2,000,000, and assets worth less than €1,000,000 on their balance sheets, will be eligible to participate in this initiative.

The agreement will initially run for a year and will be applicable to new micro-SMEs that have not participated in any tradeshow held at FYCMA to date. Eligible companies will be allowed to attend a maximum of two shows; nonetheless, the signatories –by mutual consent – may establish special conditions for a specific event, should this be recommendable.
