The measures affect three strategic areas such as reconciling family, private and professional life, and equal opportunities as regards promotion and training.

The Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYCMA) has taken its corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy to another level with the implementation of an equality plan geared to promoting practices and procedures favouring equal opportunities and promoting non-discrimination in the workplace.

The plan includes measures focusing on nine lines of action, including helping all staff to reconcile their family, private and professional life; preventing sexual harassment and the abuse of authority; ensuring the use of non-exclusive language and fluid communication; and fair wages, among others.

Jointly drafted by FYCMA and its staff, the plan will run for a two-year period and will be revised periodically, as well as auditing the implemented measures with the aim of introducing immediate changes. At the end of this period, an analysis will be conducted so as to identify the results and the impact that the plan has had on the company.
