The Monte hotel chain has recently appointed Joaquin Gonzalez Olaizola to the post of director of the three-star Monte Carmelo Hotel, located in the neighboured of Los Remedios in Seville. Gonzalez Olaizola has a diploma in Tourism Companies and Activities from the Vigo School of Tourism, and speaks several languages. Furthermore, he has a master in Tourist Organisation and Management from the University of Economic Science and Business Studies of Vigo. He has worked in the management department of several hotels, as well as having experience in sales and human resources.
“The importance of quality service is the Monte hotel chain’s main asset,” Gonzalez Olaizola stresses. “The chain’s hotels are well placed, with good facilities and, above all, a personalised service, which differentiates them from other hotels in the same category. My aim is to increase the Monte Carmelo’s prestige, if this is indeed possible, and reach target audiences outside the city.”
