The Barcelona-based company is the creator of the "Champions Village," located next to the Allianz Arena, with a capacity of 6,000 VIP guests.
iVentions, an international agency commissioned to design and produce events all over the world, will be representing Spain at the Champions League final between Bayern Munich and Chelsea, scheduled to be held in Munich on 19 May.
iVentions has been commissioned to design, build and assemble the "Champions Village," a 15,000sqm temporary structure with a capacity of 6,000 VIP guests invited by UEFA sponsors, located next to the Allianz Arena. "After nearly a year of design and planning, in just 30 days we have been able to create a temporary structure, with the direct involvement of 200 workers," said Pascal Jorritsma, CEO of iVentions, before adding: "The delivery deadline is 18 May, only a day before the guests attend the Champions League final and use this enormous structure. On the same day of the game, there will be over 20 staff members of iVentions ensuring that everything runs smoothly."
The village – comprising a square giving off onto six pavilions, one for each sponsor: Ford, Adidas, Heineken, MasterCard, Sony and UniCredit – will be ready on 19 May, and in the region of 6,000 VIP guests are expected to use it before the game starts. In the square, iVentions has erected a hemispheric structure symbolizing a giant ball cut in half, which together with the LED lighting, will stir up emotions and feelings in the guests depending on the colours used at each moment.
iVentions has gone to great lengths to make the design sustainable, and, in addition to using LED lighting, the structure that blends in harmoniously with the surrounding trees.
Since Real Madrid and Barcelona have already been eliminated, iVentions will be representing Spain at the final, thanks to the design and construction of the "Champions Village."
