ITB Berlin 2008: Where Global Business Happens

Now in its 42nd year, the International Tourism Bourse (ITB), the world’s largest tourism trade show, is scheduled to be held at the Messe Berlin trade show centre from 5-9 March 2008. Last year, the show had more than 180,000 visitors, of which 108,000 were trade professionals.

International destinations, tour operators, booking system providers, carriers, hotel, and other suppliers will be showcasing their products to more than 180,000 visitors at the Messe Berlin trade show centre from 5-9 March 2008.

The world’s leading B2B trade show will also include a comprehensive parallel programme of keynote speeches and conferences on market trends, innovation and cutting-edge technology. With 70 events and over 200 speakers, ITB Convention is a leading think-tank for the global tourist industry. In addition, en entire hall has been reserved for youth travel trends and events, eco-tourism, adventure tourism, low-price accommodation and travel for the disabled, while training and employment in tourism, travel technology, wellness, culture tourism, cruises and the publishing world will also be highlighted.

With an exhibition area of 150,000m2 and 10,923 exhibitors, ITB Berlin 2007 attracted more than 180,000 visitors, of which 108,000 were trade professionals.
