IFEMA Hosts Top Global Technological Event

IFEMA has just hosted SAPPHIRE NOW + SAP TechEd Madrid, the largest technological event in the world organized by the IT company SAP, which occupied five of the complex's halls and most of its available meeting rooms, and attracted in the region of 10,000 people, including the company's technicians and clients.

Other important events recently held at IFEMA include a number of congresses, featuring ESRI on information and geolocation systems; EDUCARED, organized by the Telefonica Foundation and geared to encouraging the use of computer networks at universities and schools; Interban Network, keyed to professionals working in marketing, finance and human resources; as well as several corporate events, such as the HSM Marketing and Sales 3.0 Forum. All these events were attended by a large number of trade professionals.

In 2012, IFEMA will again be hosting CPHI, the world's leading pharmaceutical networking event, reinforcing the centre's international image and highlighting its capacity for satisfying the organizational and logistic requirements of world-class international events. The event is expected to occupy 10 of IFEMA's 12 halls, with expected attendance figures in the region of 30,000.

IFRAExpo, The World Newspaper Week, the most important international event in the daily newspaper industry's agenda, has also been confirmed for October 2012, this being the first time that Madrid has been chosen to host the event.
