Hotel Puente Romano to Host the 2nd Health Tourism Seminar

Puente Romano, one of the most emblematic hotels on Marbella’s “Golden Mile”, is to host the 2nd Health Tourism Seminar, organised by Promotur (Andalusian Association of Residential, Sports and Health Tourism Enterprises), from 25-26 October 2007.

Sponsored by Vitania and Valle Romano, the two-day seminar will be divided into five modules. Hadi Malaeb, organiser of the World Health Tourism Congresses Germany 2006, Cyprus 2007 and the 2008 edition to be held in Marbella, will give the first keynote presentation on the economic importance of health tourism worldwide. The rest of the keynote presentations will address diverse themes, such as the spa as an essential part of modern tourist resorts, the technological advances in the industry, fasting therapies, and the aged as the main consumers of health tourism products.
