Gay Tourism Present at Fitur for the First Time

LGTB (Lesbians, Gays, Transexuals and Bisexuals) tourism will be addressed at Fitur, the second most important tourism trade show in the world, for the first time in the history of the event in a seminar entitled New Business Opportunities Presented by New Client Profiles, to be held at Ifema’s Centro de Convenciones Norte on 1 February de 2008 at 10.30am.

The seminar, presented and moderated by the writer and journalist Fernando Olmeda, will take place at the Ifema’s Centro de Convenciones Norte on 1 February de 2008 at 10.30am. Keynote speakers will include the historic LGTB rights activist Jordi Petit, the well-known LGTB tourist consultant Carlos de Cires, the entrepreneur and businessman working in the LGTB sector Manuel Roldan, the businesswoman and director of the niche travel portal Touristgay Pilar Sanchez, and the tourist consultant working for the San Bartolome de Tirajana town council (Grand Canary) Dario Jaen.
