Fuerte Hoteles has selected for local talent to staff the new Fuerte Estepona Suites, the hotel company's seventh complex, which opened on 30 July. The company has highlighted its CSR by looking for people residing in Estepona and the surrounding area with the profiles best adapted to its quality standards.

The property’s 99 staff members were chosen from 4,000 candidates. Personal interviews, psychometric and written tests, and training courses were used as filters to obtain the most suitable candidates, of which 83 are new employees. The rest of the staff is made up of existing employees transferred or promoted by the Andalusian hotel chain.

Reception, kitchen and technical staff have been the profiles most in demand. The candidates now occupying these posts have provided documentary proof of their professional qualifications in the tourist and hospitality industry. In addition to technical skills, the chosen candidates have demonstrated their desire to develop their professional skills in the El Fuerte Group, vocation for client hospitality and the capacity for teamwork.

Located on the Costa del Sol, the chief aim of the four-star Fuerte Estepona Suites is to provide those travellers looking for a holiday with a special Andalusian touch, or a venue to hold their events, far from the coast’s crowded tourist resorts, spacious accommodation and multiple complementary services. The hotel’s strength is in its size: 25,000sqm including gardens, swimming pools, a supermarket, a lobby-saloon bar, three large function rooms, and sports facilities.

Since being established in 1957, the Marbella-based, family-run Fuerte Hoteles Group has been dedicated to responsible hospitality, concerned with satisfying its clients and employees, looking after and maintaining its properties, and promoting innovation, culture and local cuisine. In addition, it is a firm advocate of local economies, environmental protection and, needless to say, collaboration with the disadvantaged through the Fuerte Foundation.
