The congress facility will be hosting a record number of national congresses this coming spring.

Last year marked the consolidation of Forum Evolucion Burgos’ position as a yardstick national congress venue in Spain. This means that this congress facility already forms part of the congress venue portfolio of the county’s decision-makers, and that Burgos has managed to place itself on the national MICE market map.

The facility’s 2015 and 2016 event agenda gives cause for optimism. There are currently 50 events booked for 2015 and five for 2016. Of the events to be hosted in 2015, 24 are cultural events and 26 congresses or meetings, featuring a total of 12 national congresses.

In relation to congresses and conventions, it is important to mention that Burgos will be hosting a record number of national congresses this coming spring. From March to June, eight major national congresses, no less, have been confirmed, totalling over 3,500 delegates who will generate around 7,000 overnight stays. To date, Burgos has never hosted such a large number of delegates in such a short time. The confirmed congresses include the 15th National Congress of the Spanish Society for Neurospinal Disorders, the 5th Ibero-American Congress on Social Networks, the 34th National Seminars of the Spanish Association of Water Supply and Treatment, the 20th ANEMBE International Congress of Bovine Medicine, the 32nd National Congress on Mental Health Nursing, and the 35th Congress of the Spanish Society for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.
