Forum Evolution, the city of Burgos’ congress centre, hosted the event from 17-19 September.

Organized by OIJ and INJUVE, the conference brought together delegates from 21 Latin American countries. On this occasion, the conference was held at Forum Evolucion Burgos, due to its versatility, wide choice of facilities, its location in the city centre, and its suitability for this type of event.

The conference was officially opened by Rebeca Grynspan, the Secretary of State for Latin America, and the Minister of Health, Ana Mato. During the three-day conference, improvements in the current situation of young people, the need to tackle the problem of youth unemployment, and the introduction of the Latin American Youth Card were discussed, among other topics.

During the conference, the delegates were given the opportunity to discover a modern and welcoming city, with a world-class heritage, which in 2013 was named "Spanish Gastronomic Capital" for its renowned cuisine. Burgos has consolidated its position as an international congress destination, thanks to its enormous potential and infrastructures, such as Forum Evolution, the city’s cutting-edge congress facility.
