Five Cities to Compete with Barcelona to Host Mobile World Congress in 2013

GSMA, the association responsible for organizing the Mobile World Congress, has just announced that five cities will be competing with Barcelona to host this important mobile phone and telecommunications congress, which has been held in the Catalonian capital since 2006, from 2013-2017.

GSMA has just announced that Amsterdam, Cologne, Milan, Munich and Paris will be competing with Barcelona to host the Mobile World Congress from 2013-2017. The association expects to draw up the list of finalists next January and, after evaluating the bids, to announce the winner halfway through the year.

The 2011 edition of the congress will be held in Barcelona from 14-17 February.
