Bosch, Buderus, Balantia, Aqualogy, Prosolia, CIAT Group, Grundfos, Euroconsult Group, Schneider Electric and Gas Natural Fenosa will present financing options and tools keyed to helping hotels become more energy-efficient.
Under the slogan "The Power of Tourism", the 4th edition of FiturGreen 2013 – organized by the Hotel Technology Institute (ITH) and FITUR, in collaboration with the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and Grupo Habitat Futura – will focus on energy efficiency funding models through Energy Service Companies (ESCOs), energy and sustainable building certifications, and sustainability management in the tourism industry. To be held in Hall 10B05 of Feria Madrid (IFEMA), this year’s programme will include workshops and case studies on advanced technologies for monitoring and controlling energy efficiency, efficient heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), efficient lighting, water management, and thermal insulation.
Green Hotel & Tourism Solutions
For the very first time, FiturGreen’s programme will include "Hotel & Tourism Green Solutions", a parallel session organized by Grupo Habitat Futura, scheduled to take place from 2.30-8pm on 31 January. The session will address operational and management issues, architectural design, facilities, and the latest market innovations, and will feature keynotes delivered by top professionals, including engineers and architects, as well as representatives from a number of top Spanish hotel groups, among others.
