Meeting Professionals International (MPI) has confirmed 18-20 April as the dates for its 2008 Professional Education Conference-Europe (PEC-E) at ExCeL London, the largest convention centre in the British capital.

PEC-Europe is MPI’s principal annual educational event in Europe, traditionally attracting 500 meeting planners and suppliers. Key factors in the selection of London were the frequency of flights and its accessibility as a capital city.
IMEX
IMEX, the leading exhibition for meetings, events and incentive travel, begins 22 April 2008, making it convenient for MPI delegates to go directly from London to Frankfurt for IMEX.
Didier Scaillet, director of European operations for MPI said, “Hosting the 2008 PEC-Europe is a great opportunity for London to showcase itself as a future destination for meetings being planned by MPI members. It also is a great achievement for the MPI United Kingdom Chapter, our largest chapters outside of North America. Most of all, our members can have a ‘one-stop-shop’ and cost savings by attending PEC-E and IMEX in one trip so we are hoping for record attendance.”
