The first of its kind in Spain, the forum is designed as a place where creators of scientific knowledge can transfer their ideas to the business community.

Transfiere, the first European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, scheduled to be held at the Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYCMA) from 8-9 February 2012, is a platform unique in Spain keyed to boosting cooperation between the scientific and business communities. The event received the firm support of Andalusian companies and institutions at its presentation in Seville on 13 December.

As was explained during the presentation, the event will allow scientists at universities and public and private research centres to transfer the knowledge that they generate to companies and productive agents involved in R&D&i by congregating both parties under one roof with the aim of creating real business opportunities.
