The aim of the visit was to present FIBES and the enlargement of its facilities to the decision-makers of several sectors, offering them the possibility of using the venue for their future conferences and meetings.

The Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) organised a "Decision-makers Day" on 25 November 2010 for a group of local directors and decision-makers of several sectors (corporate, medical-scientific, etc.) as one of the promotional actions programmed for this year in the new conference centre's marketing plan.

The aim of the visit was to showcase FIBES, as well as the works currently underway to enlarge the centre, to this group of directors and decision-makers, since they are considering holding their conferences and conventions, both national and international, at its facilities in the near future.

It is worth mentioning that the programme included a tour of FIBES' facilities, including function rooms, exhibition halls and restaurants. The group also took the opportunity to visit the International Horse Fair (SICAB), one the centre's most traditional and important trade fairs, as well as the National Conference of Veterinary Surgeons.

They also inspected the progress of the enlargement works and got to know firsthand one of its most outstanding elements: the new auditorium, seating up to 3,557 people. The new building will also be equipped with spacious, well-lit areas, featuring multiuse function rooms and facilities, the originality of the project lying in the ramp, and indoor and outdoor exhibition areas, which will make of it one of Spain's top venues for hosting all kinds of multitudinous events.

The group of directors and decision-makers were highly impressed by the centre's enlargement project, stressing the number of new possibilities that the new facilities will offer them for hosting conferences and congresses. Nevertheless, they also praised FIBES' existing facilities, as they also offer a wide range of possibilities for future meetings and conferences.
