Expo-Ocio 2007 to be Held in the Autumn for the First Time

Expo-Ocio, the largest holiday and leisure trade show in Europe, will be held at Madrid’s IFEMA exhibition centre from 24 November-2 December.

The 31st edition of Expo-Ocio, which with over half a million visitors is Europe’s most important holiday and leisure trade show, will be held from 24 November-2 December. This year, the show has been scheduled for the autumn, after being held in March for the last three decades.

Expo-Ocio 2007, sponsored by the Actilibre Foundation, will occupy Pavilions 1, 3, 5 and 7 of Madrid’s Juan Carlos I trade show complex. With over 50,000m2 of exhibition space, the event will showcase suppliers and services related to tourism, second homes, technology, cuisine, etc. In addition, there will be more than 500 new products on show.

The event will offer professionals and visitors alike the opportunity to visit the stands of 600 national and international exhibitors, all under one roof. Visitors to this nine-day show will also be able to participate in a wide variety of activities.

Expo-Ocio will be open to the public from 10am-9pm, entrance tickets costing 8 euros.
