Through its CSR "Commitment" project, Exploramas collaborated with the association DEBRA Spain at its annual event.

On the weekend of the 19-20 October, DEBRA Spain celebrated its 20th anniversary in Marbella, coinciding with the association’s annual Butterfly Skin Patients and Families’ National Meeting.

This is the most important and longest running event for people affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) or Butterfly Skin held by the association, which has been helping patients, offering assistance to their families, and heightening public awareness regarding the isolation and loneliness provoked by this disorder, included among the so-called "rare diseases."

Through its corporative social responsibility programme, Exploramas has showed support for this non-profit organization by organizing a team-building activity and gymkhana during the event: the Enigma iPad in Marbella’s historic centre and a cinema team building activity at the Fuerte Miramar Hotel.

"With these two activities, our intention has been to do our bit for the association’s annual meeting," explained Manuel Araujo, CEO of Exploramas, "and to make its an memorable occasion for the participants."

Some 100 people participated in the Enigma iPad, an activity in which they discovered Marbella’s historic centre while following an itinerary full of challenges which they has to tackle with the help of a map and an iPad.

Another 100 people participated in the cinema team-building activity, an experience in which the participants, divided into teams, had to make a short film lasting a maximum of three minutes with an iPad. To this end, the participants dressed up in costumes and improvised, while having a whale of a time.

"Having the chance to work with DEBRA has been a very special experience for our staff, who have strived to offer the participants the best experience possible," concluded Araujo.
