The employees of a multinational participated in a charity initiative for a food bank, as part of a corporate experience organized by Exploramas in the Andalusian capital.

Divided into four groups, the participants had a clear-cut objective: to purchase products to help social collectives struggling to make ends meet.

This charity experience, organized by Exploramas for a group of 34 participants, involved a shopping trip in Seville with the aim purchasing basic products such as oil, milk, biscuits, canned food and items of personal hygiene.

"The company wanted to participate in a CSR activity, so we designed an experience that motivated them from the word go," commented Manuel Araujo, CEO of Exploramas.

The activity’s careful planning and the effective communication of its charitable aim were central to motivating the group. The teams competed amongst themselves to see who could purchase the largest number of products, fully aware of the contribution that they were making towards covering the needs of disadvantaged social collectives. To such an extent, in fact, that the participants really got involved and even increased the initial budget using their own money," said Araujo.

"The products were purchased at local shops that, in spite of being franchises, generate a considerable economic impact in the city," concluded Exploramas’ CEO.

All the food and items of personal hygiene were then distributed through Seville’s Food Bank. The participants visited the non-profit organization’s warehouse and, forming a human chain, personally delivered the products.

They also got to know first-hand the workings of the food bank, thus fully grasping the impact of the activity that they had just participated in.
